A high-temperature warning remains in place for Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon.
The status yellow alert continues until tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock.
Met Éireann says it will be over 27C during the day and over 15C at night.

It says this could lead to heat stress, difficult sleeping conditions, forest fires, drought and water safety issues.
