Over 40 patients waiting at local hospitals

There were over 40 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals serving the Shannonside region today.

That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.

32 patients were waiting at Sligo University Hospital, 14 in the emergency department and 18 in wards elsewhere.

At the Midland Regional Hospital, 7 patients were waiting.
