The OPW Minister says a new public car park in Glasson will be a big boost for the area. Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran was speaking after it was announced today that the transfer of lands at Glasson Garda Station to Westmeath County Council will allow the project to progress.
An event took place in the village earlier to mark the announcement with a number of public representatives and local groups in attendance. Minister Moran says he hopes works can get underway soon:
