Children’s Disability Network teams provide specialised support and services for children who have a disability and.

Close to 700 young patients are dealing with the Disability Network team in Roscommon, with 489 of those boys and 207 of them girls.

In the South Roscommon/Galway Border area, 137 girls and 322 boys are engaged with or waiting on contact from the local youth disability team.

Across the Community Healthcare West area, which includes Roscommon, Galway and Mayo, 947 children are currently waiting for initial contact from the teams, with some waiting up to a year.
