It's hoped improvements works in Newtownforbes will now be complete by the end of May.
The project initially began in the town one year ago and were due to take approximately six months.
It's understood a 100 metre stretch of the N4 will be resurfaced over the next fortnight and will take place during the night to minimise disruption.

Road markings, footpath works and the replacement of the pedestrian crossing will also be complete by the end of the Month.
