New York police are looking to speak to a person of interest about the death of Longford woman Sarah McNally. The 41-year-old died after being stabbed in the neck while working in a bar in Queens on Saturday evening. A man also received stab wounds to the neck and back, and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Efforts are under way to return Sarah's body to Longford town, where she lived before emigrating to the US around 10 years ago. Irish Independent journalist Liam Cosgrove says no arrests have been made:
