New witnesses are to be interviewed about the suspicious death of a Leitrim man five years ago.
Foreign forensic experts will also carry out an independent examination of the evidence.
This was revealed at a meeting Liam Farrell's family had with gardai today, after a review of the garda investigation was finished.
87-year-old Liam was found dead outside his home in Rooskey in January 2020, and his family believes he was attacked.
