New traffic safety scheme to be discussed at Castlerea public meeting

A public meeting will take place in Castlerea this evening to discuss a planned new traffic safety scheme in the town.
The meeting will be held in Tully's Hotel at 7.30 pm to discuss the scheme which was recently unveiled by Roscommon County Council.

Concerns regarding the loss of a large number of parking spaces in the town have already been raised by local councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice.
Plans for the new Traffic Safety Scheme will be available at tonight's meeting as well as information regarding all elements of the proposals.
