A new motorway plaza, which would be based just off the M6 near Ballinasloe, has been given the green light. Petrogas Group Ltd applied to Galway County Council last year for planning permission.
The development includes a shop, two restaurants, an electric vehicle charging hub and outdoor play area. Galway County Planners gave the project planning permission this week with 15 conditions attached.
