New art sculpture unveiled in Roscommon Town cost almost €50,000

It's one of the last additions to the overall Roscommon Town Main Street & Market Square Public Realm Project.

A new art sculpture unveiled on the square in Roscommon Town cost almost €50,000. The project titled 'Held Together' was created by artists Simon Carmen and Dr Helen Sharp along with Colin O'Tool.

It's one of the last additions to the overall Roscommon Town Main Street & Market Square Public Realm Project. The total budget allocated to the new sculpture was €49,000. Independent Councillor Tom Crosby believes there will be a positive reaction from the public to the new sculpture:
