A motorist is set for a court appearance following an arrest by Longford Gardaí last night for a number of offences.
The Longford Roads Policing Unit detected the accused driving at 151 kilometres an hour in a 100km zone during a routine speed check in the county.
Following stopping the motorist, local Gardaí found the driver of the car to be disqualified from driving.

A search of the vehicle subsequently turned up a quantity of cannabis.
They were arrested on site and the vehicle was seized.
