A man was hospitalised after an alleged assault in county Longford. Gardaí received a report of the incident at Main Street, Ballymahon at around 8.20pm on Sunday night last, June 21st.
A man, aged in his 30s, was brought by ambulance to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
