A man has appeared in court following an alleged assault in Ballaghaderreen earlier this week.
The man in his 40s was arrested following an incident on Wednesday.
He was questioned and subsequently charged and appeared at Ballaghaderreen District Court this afternoon.

He is due back before court again in the coming weeks.
