A man in his forties has died following a road traffic collsion involving hs motorbike and a car this evening near Drumcong in Co Leitrim.
The driver and sole occupant of the car involed in the collision at Aghacashlaun , a man in hhis late 30's wasn't injured.
The body of the motorcyclist has been taken to Sligo hospital where a post mortem will take place.

The R208 between Drumcong and Carrick-on-Shannon will remain closed overnight, with local diversions in place.
Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with dash cam footage from travelling in the area this evening is asked to make it available to Gardai.
