A new high tech entertainment centre planned for the midlands will draw tourists from across the country according to the man behind the plans.
Colm Wright of Elevate Entertainment plans to open the state of the art centre in Athlone before the end of the year.
The project, located in the former Texas site in Irishtown, Athlone will be the biggest of its kind in the country.

The 2.5 million euro development will feature electric go-karting, a roller disco rink, VR pods and laser tag among other activities.
It's hoped 40 jobs will be created at the centre when it opens in October.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound News, owner Colm Wright hopes the centre will tap into the public's newfound desire to holiday in Ireland.
