Longford Town Arrange Pre-Season Friendlies

Longford Town will begin their 2021 pre-season fixtures against UCD on February 21.

The FAI have given League of Ireland clubs permission to play pre-season friendlies from February 21st.

However; in line with Sport Ireland advice, League of Ireland clubs may only play against each other, that’s after pre-season friendlies had originally been banned.

Town have arranged five pre-season matches starting with UCD on Sunday the 21^st followed by Cobh Ramblers on Thursday the 25^th.

Cabinteely will be next up for Town on Sunday February 28^th followed by meetings at home to Galway and Athlone Away before meeting Derry City in Bishopsgate in their opening league game on March 27^th.
