Longford is celebrating another major win in online plant machinery this week.
Podge Donohue from Aughakine, Aughnacliffe had four lorry loads of equipment delivered to his home in recent days after winning a draw he entered for a machinery 'bundle'.
It's the third major win in Longford in the online draws following two wins by the Keenan family in south Longford at the end of January.
It's understood the latest bundle is worth between a quarter of a million and €300,000 euro.
Podge says he can use some of the machinery in his groundwork business, and will probably sell some of the rest…
"Well there are three diggers, a dump truck, a tractor, a low-loader and dump trailer and a one-tonne dumper. I do ground works and concrete works and tarring and all that so it will help me along."
