The chair of Longford Community Safety Partnership says the group has made huge progress throughout the county in 2022.
Martina Maloney noted a highlight of the year was having the Minister Helen McEntee launch the strategy in Longford last September.
Amongst its work to date two community hubs have established in McKeon Park and Adrnacassa and it's hoped more agencies will use these facilities next year.

One priority for 2023 is to build on sporting initiatives launched in 2022 with the creation of youth leaders.
Speaking to Shannonside FM news Martina says Longford can be proud of what this new organisation has achieved.
