Longford businesswoman Anne Heraty and her partner Paul Carroll are reported to be negotiating on the sale of their majority-owned Trinity Care nursing home

Longford businesswoman Anne Heraty and her partner Paul Carroll are reported to be negotiating on the sale of their majority-owned Trinity Care nursing home business for up to €100 million euro.

The couple first invested in the business almost 9 years ago.

It's understood the nursing home business will be bought by a Paris based company that operates care homes across Europe and established an Irish unit last November.

The Ballinalee native sold her recruitment company CPL Resources to a Japanese firm in November of last year for a sum reported to be over €300 million.
