People in the Ballaghaderreen area are being invited to join a series of webinars on the North Connacht 110 kV project.

It's part of the public consultation process plans by Eirgrid to develop enhanced electricity infrastructure via an underground cable or overhead line linking electricity substations at Moy near Ballina and Tonroe near
Ballaghaderreen.

EirGrid is encouraging people who have questions about the project to take part in one of three webinars which take place, the first is online today, the second is on Thursday the 22nd with the last taking place next Wednesday the 28th.

People are asked to register with Eirgrid via their website to take part.

EirGrid is also writing to 41,000 homes in the study area, providing them with information on the project and how they can provide feedback to the project team.
