The controversial modular home's development in Ballaghaderreen will not proceed according to a Local TD. Roscommon Galway TD Claire Kerrane confirmed the news to Shannonside FM last night. There was widespread anger at a public meeting two weeks ago over plans to develop 47 units in the Little Oaks area of Ballaghaderreen.
It was also confirmed last week that the proposed modular homes development will not go ahead in Roscommon and Boyle. Speaking to Shannonside FM News, Deputy Kerrane believes attention should now switch to having additional resources in Ballaghaderreen:
