LOCAL REACTION TO FUEL CUTS: Roscommon IFA says they aren't enough for farmers

Carrigallen councillor Paddy O'Rourke says the green diesel cut is a disappointment to farmers.

As well as a 10 cent a litre cut in petrol and diesel prices, green diesel is being reduced by 2.4 cents a litre.

The measures, announced by government last night, will also see payments of between €200 and €1,200 per vehicle to hauliers.
