House prices locally were higher in the second three months of 2026 than a year previously.
That's according to the latest Daft.ie report which shows market prices in counties Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon have each seen an increase.
This report analysed house prices across April, May and June.
When it comes to a three-bed semi-detached home, prices have risen highest locally in Longford by 9.5 per cent compared to the same stage last year to just over €220,000.
In Roscommon, the average house price has also risen- by 7.8 per cent- to €248,000 while Leitrim sees an increase of 7.3 per cent to €243,000.
Nationwide prices have increased by 3.8 per cent with average prices standing at €445,000.
