A local councillor says he would like to see an Aldi supermarket opening in Granard.
The German food retailer was granted planning permission back in 2024 to construct a new 6-point-8 million euro food store in the village.
The new Granard store, which was due to open in 2025, would have created up to 30 permanent jobs.
