Local hospital overcrowding continues

There are over 60 patients waiting for a bed at local hospitals this morning.

That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.

Sligo University Hospital has the highest amount of those at 37.

This is followed by Cavan University Hospital where the total is 15.

While at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, 5 patients are waiting.

Nationally, University Hospital Limerick remains the country's most overcrowded hospital at 60.
