Gardaí have arrested a driver in Longford on Thursday afternoon.
The individual was an unaccompanied learner driver and tested positive for cocaine at a roadside test.
A quantity of cannabis was discovered on a rear seat passenger.
Gardaí seized the vehicle, and the driver and passenger were arrested.
Court proceedings are to follow.
