A local councillor has raised concerns about recent anti social behaviour in County Leitrim. Cllr Des Guckian brought forward a motion at the latest Carrick on Shannon Municipal District meeting to ask why some houses for the elderly in the Treanmore area of Mohill have been let to people of a much younger age.
Leitrim County Council confirmed at the meeting that an individual was removed from the area last week. Speaking to Shannonside FM News, Cllr Guckian believes lessons need to be learned going forward to prevent a similar situation happening again:
