Secretary of the Group says asking for help is not a show of weakness

A local autism support network is urging parents and guardians of children with ASD not to be afraid of asking for help if needed.

Midlands West Border Autism Support is highlighting the difficulties and increased stress faced by carers over the past year of the pandemic.

The Longford based service supports families across the Shannonside Northern Sound region with day activities for children diagnosed with ASD and advice and help for parents and guardians.

Group Secretary Michael Bryson says the MWB Autism Support Group is there to help in whatever way they can:
