Mirjana Pap has been remembered as a 'mammy to everyone', as she was laid to rest today in Athlone.
The Croatian woman's body was found on bogland in south Roscommon over Christmas.
The 58-year-old came to Ireland over 20 years ago and was living in a house in Beechville in Athlone.
She had three adult children - two men and a woman aged in their 20s and 30s - and a grandson.
Her body was found at Curraghaleen on Monday, December 30th.
The mother and grandmother vanished from her home in Athlone two days earlier.
Her son Nebojsa Pap has been charged with her murder.
Mirjana will be laid to rest later today in Coosan Cemetery.
