A county Leitrim man who died in a crash last week has been remembered as a loving father and partner. Daniel Taylor of Lahard, Ballinamore was on his way to work when he suffered serious injuries following the crash on the Ballinamore to Cloone Road last Thursday. He was was airlifted to Beamount Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The late Mr Taylor, who was in his 30s is survived by his fiancé, Lisa, and two children - Jack and Amy-Lee. Among the symbols brought to the altar included a trowel to symbolise his hard work and skill as a plasterer and his wedding rings as he was due to get married in early August. Speaking during the funeral mass, chief celebrant Fr Seán Mawn remarked how Daniel had crafted a beautiful home for his family:
