The body of Leitrim man Liam Farrell will be reburied on Thursday morning. His remains were exhumed from Cloonmorris Cemetery in Bornacoola on April 10th as part of a cold-case investigation. The 87-year-old died in suspicious circumstances in Rooskey in January 2020. Gardaí launched a new investigation into his death following a lengthy campaign by his family. The exhumation was ordered by the Minister for Justice with Chief State Pathologist Professor Linda Mulligan conducting a new post-mortem examination.
