Two presentations were made to Leitrim’s All-Ireland winning ladies’ footballers at a civic reception in Carrick-on-Shannon last night.
It was hosted by Leitrim County Council in honour of the side’s win in the intermediate final in August.
Several speakers, including cathaoirleach Paddy O’Rourke, reflected on the joy their success brought to the county.

Kieran Brett, from the council, says two presentations were made to the team on behalf of the local authority.
