A large number of Ukrainian citizens are expected to arrive in Ballaghaderreen in the coming weeks.
It's understood they will occupy a number of apartments at the former site of the Old Western Hotel on Station road.
Work is now underway to equip the accommodation with furnishings and household items.

To date almost 30,000 refugees have arrived in the country.
