An Irish student has died during a kayaking trip in the US.
Ella Mills from Dublin died in the accident in Washington DC on Sunday afternoon.
Ella Mills had been studying at Columbia University in New York, after arriving in the US earlier this month.

It was part of her studies in Trinity College Dublin, where she was in her third year.
She had been with the Whitewater Kayaking club's trip to Washington DC where they were in a local river.
It's understood she entered the water after her clothes were caught in rocks.

In a statement, Columbia University President Minouche Shafik says she was "heartbroken" to hear of the incident.
A reflection service to remember her was held at the university yesterday evening.
