Huge pride at Castlerea Boxing Club with Aoife O'Rourke's Olympic qualification

Castlerea Boxing Club says that Aoife O' Rourke's achievement to get to the Olympics has been down to a lot of hard work and commitment.

The 23-year-old came from behind to eventually defeat the fourth seed Elzbieta Wojik of Poland to represent Ireland in Tokyo in July.

While Aoife trains at elite level in Dublin full time, she travels home at the weekend to her local boxing club.

Paddy Sharkey Chairman of Castlerea Boxing Club says Aoife has made huge sacrifices to make her dream happen.
