Hollywood actor Chris O’Dowd will officially open Boyle Arts Festival next week.
The Boyle native will kickstart the 10-day programme in King House on Thursday, July 18th, at 8pm.
He will officially open an art exhibition, called Visual Presence, while a parade also takes place on the opening night.

O’Dowd’s wife, Dawn O’Porter, is also involved in this year’s festival.
She will be interviewed by former RTE broadcaster Bryan Dobson on Saturday week in the Church of Ireland at 6pm.
