A newly formed heritage group near the Roscommon Galway border is asking for help in finding out more about their local area.
A group of around 11 people from Ballinamore Bridge near Ballinasloe have come together to find out more about all aspects of heritage pertaining to the area.
Mathew Hughes from Hughes Bar says people often ask about the history of the bridge and other parts of the locality, but there's no official information boards to tell people about it.

He says the newly formed group would be very happy to hear from anyone who might have information and pictures about Ballinamore Bridge in times past…
