Over two thousand cases of Covid have been reported in the Shannonside region in the last fortnight.
Data from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre reveal that Roscommon recorded over 1,000 cases in the two weeks up to March 28th.
656 cases were recorded in Leitrim - the fewest in the country- with 870 in Longford in the same time period.

According to the HSE 66 people are at Galway university hospital today with Covid - the highest in this region.
43 people at the midlands regional hospital in Tullamore are presenting with Covid, 38 people with Covid are receiving treatment at Sligo University Hospital, 29 at Portiuncula and 19 at Mullingar hospital.
