There's a call for immediate action to stop groups of youngsters intimidating people in Longford town.
Fine Gael councillor Niall Gannon says local business owners, residents and visitors have all been targeted.
He told a meeting of Longford Municipal District today more garda patrols are needed in the town centre during peak times.
