Government departments evacuated following bomb threats

Multiple Government Departments were evacuated after a number of hoax bomb threats were received this afternoon.

Gardaí have declared bomb threats in Dublin as a hoax.

Staff were emailed just after one o'clock to ask them to leave the Department of Enterprise on Kildare Street.

Gardaí said they're aware of "a number" of security alerts, including reports of similar evacuations at the Department of Justice, the Labour Court and the WRC.

However, officers confirmed they're satisfied these are a hoax, and the buildings have been declared safe.
