Over 30 patients waiting for a bed locally

There were over 30 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals serving the Shannonside region this morning.

That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.

27 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital,

This inclued 16 in the emergency department and 11 on wards elsewhere.

Elsewhere, there were six at Mullingar and one in Portiuncula.

University Hospital Limerick remains the country's most overcrowded hospital with 107 patients waiting there this morning.
