Gardaí in Longford have seized a vehicle and a number of implements, including a shovel, following a fracas on Main Street in Longford town yesterday evening.
Video footage which has emerged online shows people running down Main Street through traffic shortly before seven o' clock yesterday evening and trying to hit others with various implements.
It's understood that no one has reported any injuries as a result of the incident and no arrests have been made to date.

Gardaí are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them, and they'd also like to hear from anyone who might have dash-cam footage or who might have taken videos of the incident on their phones.
