A driver is due in court after local Gardaí stopped a car believed to be operating as an unlicensed taxi.
The vehicle was discovered while the Longford Roads Policing Unit were carrying out a joint Service Vehicle Compliance operation with the National Transport Association recently.
The car was being operated as a taxi without the proper insurance or licences.

Gardaí say the driver will now face a court appearance.
