Local Gardaí are seeking witnesses following a series of burglaries in Roscommon last week. In one incident on Friday the 27th of October, a home in Ballyglass, Clontuskert was entered while the owners were away. Gardaí believe the suspects arrived in a VW Golf and gained entry to the property through a rear bedroom window between 8.30 and 9.15 pm. In a separate incident, a home in Knockglass, Ballinameen was burgled after the owner left their home. The incident occurred between 7pm and 7.30 and saw two men wearing baseball caps and balaclavas enter the home by forcing the rear door.
