A decision on plans for Roscommon town's Lidl store to be redeveloped have been delayed.
The proposal included the demolishing of the existing store, located on the Lanesboro Road and replace with a single-storey store.
A decision was due to be made this week, however Roscommon County Council has sought further information on the project.
The planning authority has raised five issues that must be addressed before a decision can be made on the application.
They include revisions to the road safety audit, improved surface water drainage, a more suitable boundary treatment, additional electric vehicle charging spaces and updated elevation drawings.
The council has deferred consideration of the application until the requested information is submitted.
Lidl now has six months to respond, or the application could be deemed withdrawn.
