The funerals are taking place today of two of Roscommon's best-known and well-respected men.
A Mass for the county's oldest man, 107-year-old Michael Coyne, who lived in Boyle, will be held in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount, at 12 noon.
And the funeral of former mayor of Roscommon, Martin Connaughton, will be held at the same time in St Patrick's Church, Athleague.
