The funeral of the husband of a former Roscommon councillor is taking place on Thursday.
Paolo Roberto, known as Pablo, died in Galway University Hospital on Sunday while aged in his 50s.
He's deeply regretted by his wife Orla Leyden, daughter Donata Maria and family.

His funeral Mass is taking place in the Church of the Assumption, Castlecoote, at 11 o'clock on Thursday morning.
A private cremation will take place afterwards.
Paolo was born in Ontario in Canada and also spent time in Bari in Italy.

He was living in Ireland for over 20 years and ran a business called Gone Fishing Ireland.
He lived in Castlecoote at the time of his death.
