A special function is taking place in Co Roscommon this evening to celebrate a local priest's two significant milestones. Monsignor Kevin Flanagan is celebrating the 65th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood - as well as his 90th birthday.
They will be marked with Mass and entertainment in Kilglass Gaels GAA Centre at 7.30 tonight. Independent councillor Tom Crosby, from Tarmonbarry, has been paying tribute to Fr Flanagan, who is now based in the US:
