Four men are appearing in court in this morning in connection with a fracas on Main Street in Longford town on Sunday.
Video footage which emerged online shows people running down Main Street through traffic, trying to hit others with various implements at arond half past seven on Sunday evening .
Gardaí in Longford seized a vehicle and a number of implements, including a shovel, following the incident.

Four men were arrested in the greater Longford area yesterday afternoon and were held in custody in Longford and Granard stations overnight.
They are due before the district court in Mullingar this morning.
