Flooding from a small lake close to Lough Funshinagh is impacting on farmers in south Roscommon. It comes amid rising water levels at the former turlough, which has been the cause of major concern for the past ten years. In recent weeks, land has been flooded near Lough Cup which is just southeast of Lough Funshinagh. Farmers have been unable to access lands in this area, and some have been forced to relocate livestock ahead of the winter months.
